Woodlands at Cedar Blvd, Newark, California, is a unit of Swagath Gourmet, NJ.  Woodlands was opened during 2003 just to fulfill the needs of the general public about vegetarian food.  Opened by the same owners of Swagath Gourmet, NJ.  Swagath Gourmet, NJ is in business for almost two decades.

Under the able guidance of Ajay Panicker, Chef, this unit is has earned enormous accolodes from print media as well as from the general public.  Woodlands is known for the quality, hygene and tasty food.  Ajay has mastered his art of cooking after getting training from Swagath Gourmet, NJ in south Indian cuisine and North Indian cuisine from Sher-e-Punjab, NJ where Sesha Iyengar owned Sher-e-Punjab for almost 10 years.  Ajay is a graduate from Culinary School from Chennai, India.

Just to mention the delicacies of Woodlands they have both cuisines like south and north to accommodate the taste buds.  They are proud to say that their preperation of food is still in the same old conventional methods even today just to hang on to the authentic taste but in a very hegenic atmosphere. Staff is always curteous and very attentative.
